You set the price for your class, set up/clean up the class area, and are responsible for participants in the studio.

The Colony will create an event page & accept registration on our website. We will publish a class schedule, help spread the word via email & socials, & issue payment of collected tuition to you (minus facility fee) after the class has concluded.

Members: 25% of collected tuition
Non-members: 30% of collected tuition

The studio is available for classes 7 days a week throughout the day & evening. You do not need to be a member or purchase a day pass to host a class in our studio. 

We prefer you schedule with us at least 30 days in advance. This allows us to notify members that there will be a class in session & gives you time to market it properly.

That said, if you need a space sooner, please still reach out.  We're a pretty flexible group & will work hard to accommodate your schedule.

Let us help you host a class

Our communal, open concept studio is perfect for classes! Depending on how much room is needed for your class activities, this space will typically accommodate up 10 participants.

Electric outlets & refrigerator are available. Equipment (easels/tables) can be reserved for your class. Tools (brushes, palettes, etc.) available on the Communal Tools shelves can be used for your class.

Given our access control, please plan on having to open the door for participants upon their arrival.
